COMPARISON  OF THE CREATION OF UNIVERSE WITH THE HUMAN SOCIETY -Rohit Chandel The universe started with a big bang almost 13 billion years ago. The big bang is the phenomenon due to which we all came into existence, it created the universe. There are a number of theories which suggest the causes of it but let’s just not get into it, not everyone here is a celestial fanatic. But according to the laws of physics, all these theories drew only to one conclusion which is that before the big bang, all the things were in a singular form or in other words, they were collectively held together in clasp of hands until some force just pushed it outside to scatter around which eventually created the universe. Until that unknown force pushed out the celestial bodies to make up the universe, it was all a concept of singularity, everything was held closely knit to the other, conjoined and united in all aspects. Compare this phenomenon to the society we’re living i

Why I found writing ‘hard’?   -Himanshu Ghongade I guess, it’s almost been two months now, that my colleague Nimisha asked me to write some content for her blog. She used to give me deadlines and I’d always end-up asking for some more time. In fact, later she freed me from writing on any topic and asked me to write on whatever interests me, but I still found it hard to write on something.   I find it hard for many people to write on anything, even during their exam-time. But what exactly makes writing so difficult? Just jotting-down some random words on a piece of paper is easy. What makes it difficult is trying to convey the essence of your thoughts through those words. When I find writing to be tough, there is this one thought that runs at the back of my mind- “these words are not the best expression of my views.” And then I remove those words because they don’t sound the way, I want them to. At the end, I get back to square-one, staring at the blinking cursor of

DEEDS NOT IN YEARS - Aritra Bose Life is measured by moments and achievements; Man’s worth is not measured in his longevity. Time flies, it waits for none. Every moment in this life is different from the previous one. Man was the creator of civilizations . From the beginning of time it is established that “a man may die but his story remains; stories about his victories are talked about even after thousands of years, and the world remembers his name.” We may die young but our deeds(good or bad) remain, with it our name remain. Age is no criterion for meaning of life. It is the actions which make us immortal. Jimi Hendrix was an American guitarist, songwriter, producer. Hendrix is a legend in the history of music. Hendrix created brilliant music with lyrics and is loved and listened to by music enthusiasts even after 48 years of his death. We all have aims in life but the fulfilment of those depends on our deeds. He had inspired many people to learn and play the guitar.H

“Don’t raise your voice, improve your argument” -By Vibhor Agarwal Arguments are silly, often undesired and unwanted, still they are a necessary part of our social construct and the society. Arguments are the fuel for a healthy democracy, they tend to appreciate the notion of free expression, which is the birth right of every individual. A parliament is a setting where the members are paid to argue. The whole nation wants them to argue, but this trail of never ending argument must lead to some conclusion, conclusion that transcends into law. India as a country value this process as much as it values the review of the law. In India, the law may have been passed but the debate continues, in the form of media coverage. TV channel fill their slots with meaningless debates to maintain their T.R.Ps and fill their coffers. Yet there are no conclusive results for the debate. There are great speakers, who with their enamored voice can sway the public notion in their favor bu

Tales of Gate

"THE TALES OF GATE" -By Nimisha Sharma My journey in IMI, started in 2011. I have been here stand and still, getting rusted after every murky rains and painted in every dazzling summers, observing everything with a great tranquility under the heat of the sun and shades of the canopy. Although I don’t say much except for a creak or a slam but I have with me some earnest and some humorous stories. I am white, small in height but have all the vibrant shades in me which are filled with tales. I have seen smiling faces of achievements and woeful faces of detachments. I have seen the gloomy goodbyes and affectionate welcomes. I have seen students entering with towering hopes, strong aspirations, ample goals, tremendous aims, immense expectations and returning with a luggage full of cherishing memories, great experiences, prominent exposure, catchy opportunities, impulse motivation, imperishable bonds and connections. I welcome all the great people of the corp

" The Last Battle by Prapti Mishra " The masterful art of story telling is one of the key ingredients that has helped mankind to develop into a society of society of intelligent beings but most importantly, the art has transcended a way to communicate the differences in cultures and in spirits of human beings.  Such is a story by Prapti Mishra. She tells this fantastic story about the fighting spirit of the woman who will become a shield for the ones she love and for the humanity itself. Read it  She woke up screaming again. This perhaps has happened the umpteenth time by now. There were the sweat droplets on her face shimmering in the beam of moon light that fell on her from the corner of a window. She has seen   the same dream again, the same nightmare again. “Are you alright my child? Did you see the same dream again?”, the old man asked. He was way too old to stand straight .His age showing perhaps he has seen the centuries pass by. He looked like

Kathakaar story by Taha Joher

Image
As is the case with stories, some are bad , some are good but the ones which really touch our heart are the ones which are told through the heart. Such Stories are difficult to find and harder to cherish but the literary team of IMI Bhubaneswar   is lucky to find such a story in the short story competition- Kathakaar organised by them. The story by Taha Joher won the competition and more importantly won the heart of the readers. The story revolves around a man's bad habit of gambling and not revealing any further let me share the story for you. "The worst thing that can happen to a gambler is that he wins…." By Taha Joher It was the end of June, and the clouds started to gather in the sky. The depressed beings peering out of their windows could finally feel that the rest of the world was just as unhappy as them. Unbeknownst to them, this was true, but the ‘normal’ people just hid it better. One person who was not unhappy, at least for now, w
