The Class of 2020 has gone through an enormous transformation during the course of their programme. They will be rewarded with their much deserved and highly coveted deg
rees on Convocation Day. The event might be held online but it won’t dampen their spirits, or the pride experienced by their faculty members and loved ones. The organizing committee has been working tirelessly to ensure that the event runs smoothly and make the special day for the graduating batch truly memorable.

The event will commence at 11.55 am on the day with the academic procession entering the venue. Shri Sunil Mitra, Board Member of RPSG Group will declare the Convocation open. The dignitaries will begin the ceremony on an auspicious note with the traditional lighting of the lamp followed by Saraswati Vandana. The speech by Shri Sunil Mitra will be another highlight of the event. Shri Anil Agarwal will then inspire the gathering of new graduates to pursue their dreams and make a difference as future global professionals in his eagerly awaited Convocation Address.

In spite of the downturn due to the pandemic, IMI Bhubaneswar has received tremendous response during the placement season. Google, Amazon, Kotak Mahindra, Decathlon, Tata Steel were just some of the top recruiters, who have hired the graduates for exciting job profiles. However, their true rewards will be when they receive their degrees, which will be a testament to their achievements in testing times. It might be an unusual convocation day celebration, but the Eighth Annual Convocation of IMI Bhubaneswar is bound to be a memorable one.
