Advantage IMI: International conferences for BSchool students

 

There are plenty of academic conferences being held today as compared to the past. Attending a conference, particularly an international one, is not just a great way for students to demonstrate their work, but there’s a lot more to be gained that goes beyond a presentation.

Conferences are an important part of academic life. IMI Bhubaneswar not only hosts a lot of international conferences on the campus but also sends its students to different conferences across the country throughout their time at the B-school. Every year, IMI Bhubaneswar organizes three international conferences on the campus. These are- IMI B - EGADE International Conference in collaboration with EGADE Business School, Mexico; IMI B - Sichuan Indo China International Conference in collaboration with Sichuan Academy of Social Sciences, China; and Conference on Banking and Finance.

With these conferences, IMI B students are given an opportunity to meet with leaders in their fields, increase networking skills, improve their presentation and communication abilities, and learn about the latest research in their area.
